As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be required to:
· Support the care team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
· Undertake direct work with young people as appropriate. To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
· Offer supervision and support to carers in line with quality standards & regulations, and as directed by the Registered Manager. To promote our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) approach and engage/lead weekly MDT meetings with Clinical and Education services on site.
· Assist the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose, and uphold the organisations mission statement and values.
Experience & Qualifications
· Level 3/4 in Residential Child Care. (Required not Early years, Adults or Social Care)
· Minimum of 1 years’ relevant supervisory experience. (Required)
· Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a residential setting with young people with challenging behaviour. (Required)
· Hold a valid Driving licence. (Required)
· Minimum age requirement of 21 years of age. (Required)
· Level 5 in Residential Child Care. (Desired)
· DBS on Update System. (Desired)

This role will include shift work, involving evenings, weekends, and sleeps. Advertised salary includes an average of 2 sleeps per week paid at an allowance of £60.00 a sleep. Rota typically involves working 2 days on with 4 off.
