Job summary We are looking for a Band 7 Senior District Nurse to join our Community Nursing teams within the Marsh and Rural Primary Care network (PCN). These PCN includes the New Romney and Tenterden areas. Candidates will be required to have the Specialist Practitioner qualification and have worked at senior level for a minimum of 3 years. As a senior clinical lead, candidates will be expected to provide additional skills including non-medical prescribing with a scope in end of life care. Those currently studying for non-medical prescribing will also be considered. Main duties of the job You will provide caseload management within a dedicated team caring for patients within a defined geographical patch in the area, working alongside the Band 6, however, will be required to provide effective clinical leadership across other teams within the Primary Care Networks. The role will support the management of our most complex patients, and provide clinical leadership. Therefore, candidates with extended learning and experience of long-term conditions, end of life or wound care will be preferred. As a senior nurse, your role will influence promoting a quality service whilst achieving high standards of assessment for personalised care plans, enabling excellent care delivery to patients, in their own home or within local clinic settings.
