Job summary
RMN or RNLD, Full time hours
We have exciting opportunities for qualified and NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse or RNLD with Mental Health experience to join our team at Jubilee Mews.
You will be joining a team of 6 Staff Nurses, 5 Support Workers, headed up by a Service Manager and Clinical Lead who are both RMNs. You will be working in a specialist rehabilitation and recovery unit in Gosforth, supporting up to 8 males and 4 females. You will have a maximum case load of two Service Users and will be responsible for liaising with the wider MDT to complete assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of their care and support. We accept referrals from Acute Assessment Wards, Forensic Services and Prisons. Our main focus is to support Service Users to move into their own accommodation or Step Down Support.
We work in the least restrictive way and collaborate closely with the individual and other professionals to offer just enough support, so that people can take the risks they need to in order to reach their potential, flourish in life and transition into a community setting.
Facilities-wise, if you were to walk past both services, you probably wouldnt notice that they are CQC-registered nursing services. They are both groups of detached houses, with staff annexes nearby and the houses are fully furnished with all modern conveniences. Also all residents have their own key to the front door and to their bedroom.
