Job Summary
His Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde (HMNB Clyde) is home to the United Kingdom’s Strategic Nuclear Deterrent, Astute Class Attack Submarines, First Mine Counter Measure Squadron and 43 Cdo Royal Marines. It is an operational support and maintenance base, within the Navy Command and comprises both Faslane and Coulport sites. HMNB Clyde’s primary purpose is to provide engineering and logistical support to the Royal Navy in maintaining Continuous at Sea Deterrent (CASD). This is achieved by ensuring at least one Vanguard Class submarine is on patrol at sea every day of the year.
Royal Naval Armaments Depot (RNAD) Coulport is responsible for the storage, processing, maintenance and issue of the Trident Weapon System and the ammunitioning of all submarine-embarked tactical weapons.

Job Description
The Naval Base Commander (NBC) Clyde’s Deputy Head Infrastructure (DHI) is responsible for informing, co-ordinating and integrating all infrastructure projects within HMNB Clyde, delivered via a number of Infrastructure delivery programmes.
The post holder for Infrastructure Support Officer is responsible for administrative support while working along with the delivery team in delivery of the 10 year Major Works programme and Faslane Nuclear Infrastructure Continuous Availability Programme (FNICAP). This includes aspects of progress reporting, administration of change, supporting governance tasks which includes completion of Corrective Preventative Action Reports (CPARS) and support of NBC Clyde Infrastructure communications.
Assistant Head Infrastructure 1 (AHI1) team proactively engages with Navy Command, Customer and Supply Chains and other external stakeholders to ensure the AHI 1 Area of Responsibility (AOR) plans are prioritised and deliverable.
Person specification
Provide an administrative function in the development and ongoing management of Assistant Head Infrastructure 1 (AHI1’s) Area of Responsibility (AOR) for the forward works schedule the 10 year major works programme and also the Faslane Nuclear Infrastructure Continuous Availability Programme (FNICAP) project.
* Administer up revisions of the Forward Work Schedule (FWS) and engagement with Change Team for AHI1 AOR.
* Support Delivery Sponsors (DS) on all programmes and support the ongoing of continued review to ensure the projects are correctly prioritised.
* Provide an administrative function in the development of trackers to ensure all AHI1 actions/tasks are managed and delivered.
* Support the Waterfront North Delivery Sponsors on Forward works Schedule and FNICAP.
* Support the DS at Joint project team Workstreams to ensure actions are captured, monitored and completed.
