£43,537.50 - £61,037.50 including bonuses! (if level 5 qualified)

What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a passionate, dedicated and experienced individual ready to lead a new home and make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the residential home
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young people
* Develop and motivate your staff team to deliver high-quality care
* Promote positive outcomes in education, health, and emotional wellbeing
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations
* Participate in the on-call rota and support staff as needed
Essential Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
* 3 years experience in a residential childcare setting, including 2 years at a senior level
* Strong understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
* Experience of leading Ofsted inspections
* Proven ability to lead, support and develop a team
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Confident in attending multi-agency meetings and writing formal reports
* Knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and trauma-informed care
* Flexible and resilient, with the ability to adapt to challenging situations
* Full UK driving licence - Own car required and business insurance
* Ability to work occasional additional hours and participate in the on-call rota
Desirable:
* Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience in therapeutic care settings
* Strong Ofsted inspection outcomes
* Proven track record of staff development
* Understanding of attachment and trauma-informed practices
