Imagine what we could do for your career? Due to growth in business our Vehicle Repair Team has an immediate opening for an ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor’s. Ideally you will have passed both parts of the ATA VDA course and have 2 years’ work experience in the role. Responsibilities Carry out computerised review and assessment approval using Audatex Communicate with repair shops to provide damage circumstances information and manage completion time Compile all relevant information and complete supporting documentation Review all assessment / repair information on the company's systems and ensure estimates are accurate Monitor progress of the vehicle through the repair process Communicate with the damage recovery department Complete reports as required Negotiate assessments with the repair shop when required. Liaise with our Remarketing team on the sale of salvage units Working with external assessors/engineers to minimise repair costs Maintaining relationships with dealerships' service departments Overseeing service and warranty repairs Maintaining relationships with manufacturer fleet departments To discuss other claim related issues with the Insurance Company assessors To conduct training with other employees To assist other team members as and when required Our rental business has a constant flow of vehicles requiring repair work through a network of repair facilities We are looking for talented individuals who are looking for a long term career and who must be able to work to targets. Qualifications Ability to multitask Target orientated Analytical mind with great attention to detail Strong communication skills An ability to work well independently and make decisions Passed the ATA VDA course [ideally both parts] A suitable home office environment free from noise and distractions if home based Strong PC skills and technical aptitude AQP and IAEA accreditations are desirable but not essential
