The Associate Director of Clinical Services (Children & Young Adults) is a pivotal leadership role at Dougie Mac, responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality palliative care for children and young adults across North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Associate Director of Clinical Services (Children & Young Adults) will provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership across all clinical services within this specialist area. They will lead multi-professional teams, ensuring a person-centred, holistic approach to care while embedding best practices and fostering continuous improvement. This role requires a dynamic and visionary leader who can effectively manage clinical governance, oversee workforce development, and advocate for integrated, high-quality services at local and national levels.

* RGN/RSCN

* Leadership/Managerial qualification.
* Masters level education or willingness to work towards.
Experience

* Significant post registration experience at a senior level
* Experience of managing a team
* Experience in training of others.
* Excellent nursing skills ability to lead by example, deliver broad range of interventions
* Proven track record in developing teams/services and integrated solutions
Desirable
* Experience in audit
* Experience in palliative care
* A knowledge of Clinical Supervision.
* Experience of undertaking research projects
* Experience of completing relevant audits
