As a Community Nurse, you’ll promote and maintain the health and well-being of individuals and families within the local community. Your duties will include conducting health assessments, providing health education, and delivering preventive care, as well as administering vaccinations, monitoring chronic illnesses, and offering support for patients with various healthcare needs. You’ll collaborate with local healthcare agencies, schools, and social services to address community health issues and advocate for improved healthcare access.
You’ll be a highly organised professional with excellent time-management, communication, and judgement skills. You’ll be confident working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, providing a friendly demeanour towards your patients and their families.
