HGV Class 1 Driver
Monday - Friday: Days: 04:00 - 08:00 start / Nights: 15:00 - 18:00 starts
PAY RATE: £15.68 - £24.52 PER HOUR

We are looking for day drivers with potential to do the occasional night out and night drivers.

Rates of Pay
Days - £15.68 per hour basic / £23.52 per hour overtime after 48 hours
Nights - £16.68 per hour basic / £24.52 per hour overtime after 48 hours
Day to Day Duties
Trunk runs to depots
Curtain side work
Positive 'can do' attitude
Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
Follow Company policies and procedures
Comply with Driving rules and regulations
Conduct vehicle inspections and report any faults to management
Essential Skills
Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
Hold a valid UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
Work in a professional manner
Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience
Experience of working on a general haulage contract is desirable but not essential
Training
Written and driving assessment will be required
