Cyber Essentials Assessor – 3 month FTC
This is a part time contract- 3 days a week.

What you’ll be doing
* Conducting Cyber Essentials Basic assessments for a range of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant criteria and guidelines
* Reviewing client documentation and evidence, engaging with clients to validate assessment requirements, and preparing detailed assessment reports
* Providing clear and actionable feedback to clients, including any necessary steps to meet Cyber Essentials standards
* Collaborating with the Cyber Assurance team to share best practices and insights, improving the efficiency and consistency of assessments
* Supporting clients through the Cyber Essentials process, answering queries and addressing challenges they face in achieving compliance
On day one you will bring
* Previous experience in Cyber Essentials assessments and a solid understanding of basic cybersecurity principles, including controls for access management, firewalls, software updates, and malware protection
* Experience working in cybersecurity, ideally within an assurance, auditing, or assessment environment
* The ability to analyse technical documentation, assess compliance with established standards, and offer pragmatic, clear guidance for improvement
* A meticulous approach to documentation, report writing, and evidence review
* An ability to effectively convey cybersecurity concepts and compliance requirements to clients with varying levels of technical knowledge
* Must be a certified Cyber Essentials Basic Assessor
