We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our fully staffed Pharmacy team at HMP Bure. HMP Bure is a category C Prison located in Badersfield, Norwich. The prison houses around 624 patients with a variety of complex needs including long-term conditions. Within this role, you will be patient-facing, delivering clinical screening and structured medication reviews. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including another pharmacist, to ensure the delivery of high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
Hours
Monday to Friday the site can offer flexible shift times 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm. This position is part-time working 15 hours across 2 days; you'll receive an annual salary up to £55,941 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Pharmacist, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
* Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensure a safe and modern medicines management services.
* Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians.

Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Vocational Masters Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training.
Although not essential, this would ideally suit an applicant with at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
