We are currently seeking a skilled Chef to collaborate with our team at Chartwells in creating exceptional food experiences on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that meets our clients' and customers' expectations.

This position is contracted to 41 weeks per year and requires a flexible approach to working.

* Preparing high-quality food: Delight our clients and customers with delicious, well-prepared dishes that meet their expectations.
* Overseeing menu changes: Collaborate with our team to implement new menu ideas and ensure a consistent high-quality food service.
* Identifying opportunities for improvement: Act on customer feedback to continually improve our food services and meet the evolving needs of our clients and customers.
* Supporting menu creation: Contribute to the development of new menus and creative food concepts that align with our company values and meet customer demands.
* Representing Chartwells: Maintain a positive brand image and represent our company with integrity and professionalism.
* Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked and maintain a high level of food quality.
* Kitchen cleaning: Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
* Compliance: Adhere to Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a high level of food safety and quality.
Requirements:
* Passion for great food: Be passionate about creating exceptional food experiences and delivering exceptional customer service.
* Certifications: Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent and a Food Hygiene certificate.
* Leadership experience: Have experience supervising a team and working in a similar Chef role.
* Flexible approach: Be able to adapt to changing situations and work flexibly to meet the needs of our clients and customers.
