We are looking for a part time, experienced Small Animal Vet to join us at Linden House in Diss, Norfolk. We have no on call or OOH commitments but ask that you help with our Saturday morning consulting shift 8:30-12:30 on a pro rata basis. We are looking for a minimum of 2 days per week but can be flexible with the total hours and days you are looking for (e.g school hours). Salary of up to £65k DOE (pro rata).
We are a forward-thinking, care centred practice of 3 Vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 4 receptionists. We have the ISFM silver award and are a ‘Dogs Trust' Dog Friendly Clinic. We see a variety of GP cases and allow plenty of time for work up and procedures, so we are happy to support any special interests or certificates. Our Head Vet has been with us for 13 years (since a new graduate!) and undertaken additional surgical CPD. Another vet is currently completing their General Practice Certificate with an interest in medicine and diagnostics. We are a single site so there is always someone around to talk about cases or help with day to day questions.
We offer 15-30 minute consults and booked-off admin time throughout the day, giving you the time to call clients with results, research cases or just catch up with the team and a well-deserved cup of tea or coffee. We do like our ‘down time' and use our CVS refresh fund for Costa, snacks, puzzles and games in the staff room and monthly book and film clubs.
