The Ruth Gorse Academy is looking to appoint an inspiring individual to the role of Senior Science Technician. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Science in overseeing all aspects of the Science Department's operations. This role involves managing and supervising the Science technicians, while collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical support that enhances the effective teaching of the Science curriculum to students.
The ideal applicant will have:
• Grade C/4 and above in GCSE Science (or equivalent).
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to supervise, manage and effectively deploy the technician team.
• Able to work to work alone as well as part of a team
• Ability to work well under pressure and use your own initiative
