The Role
As a director, you will have overall responsibility for overseeing the delivery of Passive Fire projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
1. You will play a pivotal role overseeing multiple projects in various stages of pre-construction and construction, from planning to handover.
2. You will manage every facet of the contractual side, focusing on delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards, engaging with clients and driving business growth.
3. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting and budgeting.
4. Conduct regular site visits and liaise with managers to monitor progress, ensuring outstanding delivery that reflects the company’s reputation.
5. Monitor progress, quality, and health and safety compliance.
6. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
7. Hire, manage, and lead a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
8. Motivate, support, and manage staff by providing training, coaching, and support as required to improve performance.
9. Drive site construction progress, ensuring a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule.
10. Ensure that various construction teams have the capability to execute assigned scope in a safe, secure, and cost-effective manner in accordance with the cost, technical, schedule, and quality baselines.
11. There will not be much new business development as our client already has a strong client base with repeat business.
About You
1. You must have a proven track record of working within a similar position in the fire protection industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of passive fire protection systems.
3. Ability to read/interpret construction drawings and specifications.
4. Proficiency in project management software/tools such as Office 365.
5. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
6. Self-motivated and effective use of initiative.
7. Strong reporting and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications - NVQ6, IFE level 3 (2), and SMSTS are desirable.

For your skills and experience, our client is looking to pay an excellent salary of £70,000 basic + Company Car + Director Shares in addition to the standard package benefits.
