Job Description
* Negotiate rent reviews, lease renewals, and break options to reduce property costs and improve profitability.
* Explore and implement regear opportunities to lower occupational costs and generate incentives for reinvestment.
* Manage the rebranding of stores and oversee the closure process, including dilapidation negotiations.
* Retain ownership of property databases.
* Collaborate with multiple internal and external teams including Retail Operations, Finance, Maintenance, H&S, and legal advisors.
* Prepare reports for monthly board meetings and advise on budgeting for the upcoming financial year.
* Oversee invoice authorisations for rent and service charges, ensuring compliance with turnover-linked rents.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Ideally MRICS or significant estates management experience in retail environment.
* Strong negotiation skills with experience in property cost reduction and lease management.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, including store rebranding and closures.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Knowledge of property management systems and the retail property landscape.
* A proactive approach to identifying strategic opportunities for growth.
