We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Year 5 teacher for a short-term, full-time role from Easter until the end of the Summer Term in Wivelsfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (NQT/ECT) to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and vibrant school environment.
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring that students remain engaged and progress throughout the term.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt to the school setting, following policies and practices to provide a smooth and effective learning experience.
• Support the development of young learners, ensuring equal opportunities for all students in your care.
✅ Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong classroom management skills with a focus on Year 5 students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• ️ Current DBS registered on the update service (or willing to apply).
