Social care and health services across Kent face several significant challenges in the years ahead, as the population is living longer and with more complex needs; increasing demand on the health and care sector. We are committed to maintaining and improving high quality services, despite funding challenges faced by all public sector organisations. To help us achieve our ambitions, we have a dedicated Transformation and Delivery Team to drive and deliver successful change within the organisation.
The opportunity
We are offering an exciting opportunity within Adult Social Care (ASC), to support on a variety of new and existing projects that will help contribute towards the organisation’s strategic objectives. We are looking for a motivated individual who can make an impact from day one and can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, to help support the delivery of successful change within the Directorate.
In this Project Officer role, you will be working with Project Managers and Senior Project Officers (potentially across several projects concurrently). You will need to pro-actively drive the work forward and may also be assigned to individually work on small-medium scale, independent pieces of work. You will also be working with the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to provide support, advice and guidance to the wider team, as well as lead on a variety of small change initiatives.
