The Role
1. This role involves primarily working on motorways, with 90% of the work dedicated to this task.
2. Be responsible for picking up loads from the plant and delivering them to the designated sites promptly and efficiently.
3. Operate Class 2 Mixer vehicles to transport materials for central reservation repairs.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and on-site.
5. Perform central reservation repair tasks efficiently and effectively.
6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours worked.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.
8. Flexible availability for occasional nightwork as required.
Requirements
9. Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
10. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
11. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
12. Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
13. Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.
14. Proven experience as a Mixer Driver, preferably with central reservation repair experience.
15. ‘Verifi’ ticket/qualification associated with mixers would be advantageous.
16. Ability to work away from home, staying in paid hotel accommodation (shared room).
17. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
18. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
