Role Overview:
As an Electrical Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical testing and inspections across a range of social housing properties. This includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations, identifying potential issues, and completing testing and certification of electrical systems. You will play a key role in supporting the safety and well-being of our residents by maintaining electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct electrical testing and inspection in social housing properties, ensuring compliance with the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and other relevant standards.
Perform EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) on domestic properties.
Identify faults and recommend corrective actions.
Carry out any required remedial works to bring electrical installations up to standard.
Complete all necessary documentation, including certification and reports, in a timely manner.
Work in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Liaise with tenants to arrange access and provide a high level of customer service.
Assist in the development and delivery of maintenance programs.Key Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
