As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dynamic and commercially savvy Account Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding our client base.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner for our clients, focusing on loyalty, retention, and delivering exceptional value. By building strong relationships with Senior Executives and key stakeholders, you’ll create and execute strategic account plans to meet both client objectives and Unity5’s commercial goals.
This role demands a strong understanding of technology, excellent collaboration skills, and a drive to make a meaningful impact. You’ll work closely with our Customer Success, Implementation, Support, and Product teams to ensure clients maximize their adoption of Unity5’s solutions and achieve long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for your client portfolio, developing multi-level relationships from Senior Executives to key users.
* Build trust through proactive communication and a deep understanding of client business objectives.
* Develop and execute account plans tailored to client goals, identifying opportunities for growth and addressing potential blockers.
* Partner with the Customer Success team to ensure optimal product usage and system setup for each client.
* Manage client escalations, coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
Commercial Responsibilities
* Ensure adherence to all contractual obligations and SLAs across your accounts.
* Analyse commercial data to identify successes, risks, and areas for improvement, communicating insights to senior teams and finance.
* Proactively identify and close upsell opportunities, achieving revenue targets.
* Maintain accurate records in HubSpot for reporting and deal tracking.
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Work with the Implementation team to understand client use cases and objectives from the outset.
* Collaborate with Support teams to address client issues and remove barriers to success.
* Advocate for the customer within Unity5, sharing insights with Product, Marketing, and Development teams.
* Support marketing initiatives by identifying referenceable clients and developing compelling case studies.
* Engage clients in roadmap planning to gather valuable feedback for future product development.
About You...
Required:
* A minimum of 3 years in a commercially-focused customer role, managing 20+ accounts simultaneously.
* Proven experience building strong client relationships both remotely and in person.
* A track record of meeting and exceeding targets, with a focus on data-driven results.
* Exceptional organisational skills, capable of managing multiple accounts and initiatives.
* Proficiency in business IT tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack) and CRM systems like HubSpot.
* Collaborative and influential, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Desired:
* Familiarity with Unity5 platforms and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
* Industry knowledge, particularly in the Parking sector, with an understanding of relevant regulations and practices.
