Occupational Therapist - Permanent role
Salary: £45K - £55K depending on experience
Hours: Full-time 8:30am - 4:30pm
Location: Harlow - right next to the train station. Free parking also available.
About the role:
Working in a specialist clinic for infants, toddlers, children and adolescents who have cerebral palsy providing high-energy, engaging and uplifting therapy to international clients. Develop, enhance or restore functional skills of clients whose abilities to perform tasks of daily living are threatened or impaired by physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and sensory impairments.

Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist:
* Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric motor and sensory impairments; document deficits.
* Evaluate physical conditions, develop treatment plans, and adapt environments for improved function.
* Apply various practice frameworks (neurodevelopmental, biomechanical, etc.) and therapy techniques.
* Train patients/caregivers in using assistive and mobility devices; prescribe home exercise programs.
* Maintain accurate documentation and write evaluation and progress reports.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and build rapport with clients.
* Manage schedules productively and contribute to clinical practice development.
* Follow professional, legal, and ethical guidelines; engage in ongoing professional development.
What we are looking for in an Occupational Therapist:
* HCPC registration
* Experience with young people who have cerebral palsy
* Lift, push or pull up to and including 22 KG with hands and wrists as therapeutic handling is manually intensive
