Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Supervisor to join the operational Facilities Management team at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. We are looking for a self motivated and enthusiastic person with previous supervisory experience who would like to be part of a high performing management team. The post holder will supervise a team of support service assistants in delivering excellent cleanliness standards, housekeeping and domestic services. The Facilities Team provides a professional in-house service which plays a key role in the Trust's overall performance which is reflected in our values and behaviours. Based at Dewsbury Hospital, we have 1 part time post. The shift patterns will be as follows; 15 hours per week working Thurs - Fri from 06:00am - 14:00pm. Main duties of the job The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for leading the daily delivery of an efficient and effective customer focused quality service in accordance with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness. The scope of the service involves the supervision of a team of Domestics and Housekeepers for the delivery of the service. You will have the ability to plan, act and monitor your own and your team's performance and need to be adaptable, self-motivated, set clearly defined and achievable individual, team and operational goals. You will work collaboratively with key partners, support the clinical teams and establish and maintain good working relationships.
