This is a maternity cover for 9 months.
Salary: £27,190
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Shifts: 07:00 am to 17:00 pm / 07:30 am to 17:30 pm / 08:00 am to 18:00 pm

CitySprint has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator. We are looking for a superstar who enjoys coordinating activities and efforts of teams to ensure a streamlined operation, resulting in excellent service for our customers and colleagues.
In this role, you will build excellent working relationships with both staff and clients and be the go-to person who designs and delivers an effective operation with couriers and suppliers.
The main responsibilities within the Operations Coordinator role are:
* Answer phone lines promptly and professionally.
* Arrange relevant collections, transit routes, and deliveries.
* Input event tracking for all bookings and in-transit consignments.
* Liaise with Operations departments and Imports to ensure imports arrive in line with correct SLA (transit time).
* Provide the Customer with updates on all exceptions or issues.
* Request and enter all PODs from relevant agents.
* Report all discrepancies to Managers.
* Provide quotes when requested to the relevant Customer.
* Monitor the emails for the Service Centre.
* Work with suppliers (agents) to deliver a seamless, high-quality Customer Experience.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
* Some experience in supporting the control with dispatching or allocating vehicles.
* Treats people with respect under all circumstances.
* Responds promptly and appropriately to the needs of customers and suppliers.
* Ensures all jobs are collected and delivered within agreed timescales.
* Handles client operational queries effectively and promptly.
* Proactively suggests improvements to service delivery.
* Skilled listener, able to understand and empathise with Customers.
* Ability to self-motivate and work with minimum supervision.
