Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Site Manager on a permanent basis, located in Hampshire.
As a Site Manager, your duties & responsibilities will include:
1. Day to day management of site operatives, subcontractors and site work.
2. Development and implementation of Safety documentation including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
3. Identify training requirements for site personnel.
4. Procurement of materials using computer-based systems.
5. Notify line manager of possible variations and keep suitable contemporary records.
6. Fulfilling the role of Temporary Works Supervisor where required.
7. Ensure full compliance on projects with all Company procedures and current legislation.
8. Client liaison including arranging progress meetings, pre-start meetings and client audits.
9. Identify and resolve design issues raised on site.
10. Planning and programming of current and future works on site.
11. Subcontractor monitoring and auditing.
12. Deliver complex High Voltage projects across multiple sites.
13. Compilation of documents and As Built records for handover files.
14. Support Senior Team with all reasonable requests.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
1. Qualified to HNC / Degree Level in Construction, Civil Engineering or an Electrical discipline or equivalent.
2. CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme.
3. Current Active DNO.
4. Temporary Works Supervisor.
5. A background in construction and the electricity industry.
6. Competency to work in Substations up to 132kV.
7. Knowledge of NEC contracts.
8. Knowledge of current legislation relating to Health, Safety and Environment.
9. Cost/Value reporting exposure.
10. IT literate, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
11. Full driving license.
