Position Summary The Global Document Controller is responsible for the centralised management and standardisation of documentation for engineering, construction, and facilities across Global Workplace Services (GWS) regions worldwide. This role is essential in ensuring all documentation related to capital projects, operational projects, and facilities management is organised, up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with KLA’s global standards. As the global owner, this role will collaborate multi-functionally to maintain a single source of truth for GWS engineering and facilities documents. The role requires both strategic oversight of document control policies and hands-on tactical execution in updating construction and facilities drawings Your day to day responsibilities will include: Document Control and Management Develop, maintain and implement a global document control system for construction, engineering, and facilities-related documentation across all KLA sites. Implement compliance with company standards developed by this role, industry regulations, and contractual requirements related to document management. Track and ensure that documents for all engineering, capital project, and facilities are reviewed, approved, and maintained within designated SLAs. Capital Projects and Construction Documentation Be the primary owner of all documentation for capital projects, ensuring project teams, contractors, and engineers follow document submission and approval protocols. Update and lead construction drawings (CAD, BIM models, technical drawings) as projects evolve, ensuring alignment with as-built conditions. Work closely with project engineers, architects, and external contractors to incorporate real-time changes into master documents. Operational and Facilities Documentation Own and maintain a centralised repository of user documentation for all global facilities, including MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), structural, HVAC, and process control documentation. Maintain records of maintenance logs, equipment manuals, warranties, and operational procedures for facilities teams. Support compliance efforts by ensuring facilities documentation meets internal audit and regulatory requirements. Collaboration and Training Act as the point of contact for document control audits, facilitating data retrieval and compliance reporting as needed. Provide training and mentorship to regional teams on document control standard processes, systems and tools. Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure alignment to KLA’s policies. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information management, construction management, or a related field Shown experience in document control, preferably within engineering, construction, or technical facilities management Strong experience with document control software, databases, and engineering drawing management tools (e.g., BIM, AutoCAD, Aconex, SharePoint, ProjectWise, or equivalent) Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with global teams across multiple time zones KLA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
