Job Description
1. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes within the firm.
2. Conduct CDD and AML checks on new and existing clients.
3. Conduct ongoing PEP monitoring and sanctions screenings.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs.
5. Evaluate internal policies and procedures to identify possible compliance risks.
6. Conduct compliance audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
7. Develop and deliver compliance training programs for staff.
8. Prepare and present reports on compliance activities.
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
10. Keep abreast of changes in SRA laws and regulations that may impact the firm.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Compliance Analyst should have:
1. A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Must have previous risk and compliance experience in a law firm setting.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal requirements.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficiency in using compliance software.
6. Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving.
