Job overview
You will liaise closely with the line manager in providing a high quality technical service that builds on the standards defined by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and ISO 15189:2012. You will be expected to develop and maintain close working relationships with all grades of staff both technical and medical to ensure the effective delivery of the technical service.
The chemical pathology laboratory is well equipped and benefits from Abbott Alinity Ci, BIO-UV spectrophotometer, Sherwood chloride meter 926 and Advanced instruments Osmometre.
Applications are invited from HCPC registered BMS's (or HCPC pending), or holders of IBMS Accredited Biomedical Science degree requiring completion of registration portfolio (Trainee BMS post).
