Manual Mail Team Leader - 37.5 hours Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30
Abbey View is one of 17 Paragon sites across the UK. The site specializes in production of outbound and inbound document services. The site contains printing, mailing, and warehousing capability for the purposes of outbound mail and postal and electronic receipt, capture, validation, and document storage for the purposes of inbound mail.
OVERVIEW & PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Manual Mail Team Leader is a key role within the Abbey View site responsible for the performance and management of their immediate team with a focus on quality, continuous improvement, throughput, and SLA delivery. This supervisory role includes conducting performance reviews, managing holiday and sickness absence, and overseeing health & safety within the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Adhere to defined standards and processes ensuring best practice is adopted.
* Monitor team throughput and organize staff as necessary to achieve contractual service levels.
* Ensure team quality and throughput targets are achieved.
* Demonstrate drive and support for continuous improvement activity.
* Help maintain up to date documented procedures for all tasks and processes.
* Identify and eliminate process weaknesses through continuous improvement methodologies.
* Take responsibility for own learning and development.
* Support in ensuring workloads are balanced within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience of supervising a team.
* Experience of working to tight deadlines.
* IT Literate & competent in the use of MS Office.
* Experience delivering in a pressurized environment.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
