Job summary Rotational Clinical Pharmacist - Band 6 - Full-time EDC Do you want to be part of an exceptional team? We are currently seeking a Band 6 clinical rotational pharmacist to join our dynamic and well-motivated team. The successful candidate will rotate through some of the following: Acute and General Medicine, Surgery; Care of the Elderly; Paediatrics & Maternity, Technical services and Medicines Information. The rotations are structured in line with the JPB core areas of Clinical, Technical and Patient Services and Medicines Information. This will provide you with the knowledge and experience required to be well rounded and capable pharmacist. The role gives you the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team where you can provide support for service development through projects, audits and education. You will be able learn from specialists and senior pharmacists in each rotation to improve your knowledge and allowing you to attain the required skills for your personal development. You will be involved in the education and training of Brighton Undergraduates and vocational students, thus giving you the opportunity to experience leading supervision and management with the aim of developing these skills to help you grow in your pharmacy career. Interview date - TBC Main duties of the job The post holder will be a member of the Pharmacy team and will provide a Clinical Pharmacy service to a defined specialty on a rotational basis. The aim is to promote the safe, effective, economical use of medicines in patients being cared for by the Trust, in accordance with the required standards of quality and professional practice, to meet the needs of the users. They are also expected to undertake further training (e.g. via the clinical pharmacy diploma) and to develop own knowledge and skills and to contribute to the development of pharmacy services. Each rotation has been designed to develop their clinical and personal skills to prepare them for their next role as a specialist clinical pharmacist. Rotations will include some of the following: General Medicine (incl. Respiratory, Stroke) Elderly Care Surgery Paediatrics and Maternity Medicines Information Technical Services (incl.
