A highly respected National Broker in Milton Keynes is looking to add a Commercial Handler to its expanding team. Due to year on year growth, the business now has national coverage and access to all provincial, London, and international markets in addition to bespoke and exclusive schemes which enables our client to have an enviable presence in the Commercial Insurance Market.

Overview of the Position
Key responsibilities include:
1. Servicing and developing accounts with premiums in excess of £10,000 across all classes of Commercial Insurance from our existing client base.
2. Receiving full support and backing of a designated account handler who will assist with market presentations and obtaining quotations for the risks you are tendering for.
Candidate Requirements
Our client is looking for a candidate who has the following:
1. At least 2-3 years of commercial insurance experience is essential, along with sales experience.
2. Excellent negotiation skills with insurers and prospects.
3. A desire to develop new business.
4. An ability to meet and exceed targets and KPIs.
5. Excellent knowledge of the insurance market and its trends.
6. CII qualification or progress towards it is desirable.
Skills
Commercial general insurance experience within either a broker or insurer environment, capability and experience to deal with significant commercial insurance clients, excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills to enhance customer relationships, confidence in negotiation, ability to work enthusiastically and meet deadlines, and willingness to undertake bespoke internal training and professional examinations as required.
