Part-time hours also available Location: Romford About the role: Working across 2 - 3 specialist schools in the local area, taking care of managing your caseload which will include a range of communication needs, autism, early intervention and learning disabilities for children aged 0 - 16 years. Assess children’s speech and language needs and produce reports to share with parents and school teams. Deliver training to parents and members of school staff on a range of topics (Supported by a band 7 therapist where needed) Liaise closely with teachers and teaching assistants in curriculum planning, target setting and the development of resources. Provide advice, support and modelling for parents, carers and other family members, and to respond to their needs in the context of the individual child as well as based on a wider knowledge of language development and difficulties.
