Our service user is a teenage boy who lives with his family in Loughborough.
Were looking for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join his team, providing care throughout the night on a 1:1 basis, at his family home.
He loves spending time with his family and care team, watching his favourite TV programmes, listening to audio books and having books read to him. Our young service user thrives on love and care, creating a great connection with those around him.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Main duties of the job
Upon arrival to his home, he will already be settled down for bed and often has a restful nights sleep with minimal interruptions. He will sometimes wake up in the early hours, but will often watch a DVD to settle down once again.
Overnight, you will offer comfort and reassurance when needed, promote a restful environment and provide close supervision and observations due to his respiratory needs. You will also carry out careful repositioning when needed, tend to his clinical interventions and ensure that his needs are met in a timely manner.
Please note, there is a family dog in the property so it is essential that you are comfortable around animals.
We have the following shifts available
1. Part Time Nights
2. 10pm 7:30am or 10pm 8am
3. 2-3 Shifts Per Week
Take a look at our pay rates
Weeknights: £ per hour (£135 approx. per 10-hour shift)
Weekends: £ per hour (£140 approx. per 10-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £ per hour (£160 approx. per 10-hour shift)

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
