Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities
1. Record day-to-day financial transactions
2. Maintain accurate ledgers using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
3. Process accounts payable and receivable
4. Reconcile bank statements
5. Prepare financial reports and summaries
6. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
Requirements
1. Proficiency in accounting software like Xero, Sage, QuickBooks
2. Solid understanding of accounts payable and general accounting principles
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
4. Excellent organisational skills
5. Previous experience as a Bookkeeper is advantageous
General Office Administration Duties
Must also be able to carry out general office administration such as payroll, VAT returns, company pension scheme, CIS returns, organising health & safety training for employees, and looking after a small fleet of company vehicles.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
