The Security Control Room Coordinator will ensure the smooth and secure operation of all control room functions within a prestigious residential estate. This role requires a detail-oriented professional experienced with high-end residential security systems and technologies, committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and customer service. As a key member of the security team, the Coordinator will work closely with the Duty Security Manager to deliver effective control room operations in line with site policies and regulatory standards. Position Details: Position: CCTV Control Room Coordinator Location: London (W2) Pay Rate: £15.95 per hour Hours: Average 56 hours per week Shifts: 3 Days, 3 Nights, 3 Off (12 hour shifts 0700hrs-1900hrs/1900hrs-0700hrs) Job Requirements: SIA CCTV License required. SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License preferred. Experience in a high-end residential estate or a similar luxury environment. Familiarity with MyTAG (asset tracking and patrol verification), Traka cabinets (key management), SALTO (access control), Genetec (CCTV and security management platform). Knowledgeable in Subject Access Requests and GDPR compliance. Skilled with SignInApp and permit to work systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC systems. Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of service expectations in a luxury residential setting. Strong multitasking abilities, including prioritization in high-pressure situations. High-level written and verbal communication skills for reporting and customer interactions. Team-oriented and self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: CCTV and Security System Management : Monitor and operate the Genetec CCTV platform, ensuring real-time surveillance and incident support. Access Control & Key Management : Administer access controls using SALTO systems and manage keys with Traka cabinets, ensuring compliance with security protocols. MyTAG System Oversight : Maintain the MyTAG system for asset tracking and patrol verification, ensuring that compliance checks are completed and documented accurately. Data Privacy Compliance : Handle Subject Access Requests and maintain adherence to GDPR regulations, protecting residents' privacy and security data. Visitor and Permit Management : Use SignInApp for visitor tracking and manage the permit to work systems to ensure only authorized personnel access specific areas. Incident Reporting and Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely logs of daily occurrences and incidents via the CIS HUB, and report discrepancies in MyTAG to the Duty Security Manager. Customer Service and Relationship Management : Provide courteous, professional assistance to residents and visitors, ensuring that customer service aligns with the high standards expected at The Whiteley London. Training and Support : Assist in training new officers in control room functions and security protocols, ensuring a well-prepared team for all shifts. Equipment and Technology Maintenance : Inspect and prepare all control room equipment for daily operations, reporting any faults or issues per site procedures. Incident Response : Support and lead incident response in the absence of the Duty Security Manager, acting quickly and professionally in emergency situations.
