Key responsibilities:
Preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
Providing financial analysis and business insights to support decision-making
Managing financial reporting processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Supporting the annual budget-setting process and long-term financial planning
Working closely with academic and administrative departments to improve financial efficiency
Assisting with year-end accounts and liaising with auditors About you:
A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or significant relevant experience
Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
The ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
A proactive and solution-focused approach
Experience working in a higher education, charity, or public sector setting (desirable but not essential)
