You will ensure your team is engaged and performs to the highest standards against set key performance indicators, acting as an advocate for Alliance Healthcare's culture, values, and safety standards. Regular briefings and meetings will keep your team informed and motivated regarding operational requirements. Location:Alliance Healthcare, Belfast, BT3 Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday (flexibility required for Sunday shifts) Shift Times:18:00-02:30 Hours:39 hours per week Role Responsibilities: Ensure all colleagues understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for Medicinal Products for Human Use and provide necessary training. Develop and implement a clear operational plan to meet customer expectations. Foster a safety culture, reduce costs, and improve service quality. Investigate operational failures to prevent future occurrences. Lead by example in promoting workplace safety. Assist in the recruitment of new colleagues aligned with Alliance Healthcare values. Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback for development. Create and implement a daily resourcing plan for optimal operational output. Deliver training on operational procedures, including GDP and SOPs, emphasizing housekeeping standards. Support the Management Team in achieving departmental and company objectives.. Role Requirements: Educational Background: A degree or equivalent qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing teams in a warehouse or distribution environment. Understanding of GDP: Comprehensive knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) regulations and their application in a warehouse setting. Performance Management: Experience in evaluating team performance and implementing development plans. Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety standards and the ability to promote a safety-first culture among team members. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse team. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to investigate operational failures and implement corrective actions effectively.
