The Role
As an SEN Intervention Teacher, you will:
1. Plan and deliver targeted intervention programs for children with SEN, including those with EHCPs and additional support needs.
2. Work closely with class teachers and support staff to identify and address learning barriers.
3. Monitor and assess progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
4. Build positive relationships with pupils to support their social, emotional, and academic development.
5. Collaborate with the SENCO, parents, and external agencies to provide a cohesive support system.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a committed professional who:
1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Has experience working with children with SEN, preferably in an intervention or small-group setting.
3. Demonstrates a strong understanding of a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
4. Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about enabling every child to succeed.
5. Can use a variety of strategies to engage and inspire learners with different needs.
6. Is organized, flexible, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
