We are looking for a National Sales Advisor to join our small sales team based in Oving, near Chichester on a full time, permanent basis. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch, and the role is office based.
Interviews will be conducted face to face at our office in Oving.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
* Liaise daily with key account contacts nationwide (mostly B2B) to build relationships, generate new orders, and answer queries.
* Gain a full understanding of the Earth Cycle products to maximise selling opportunities.
* Visit customers to further build relationships and generate sales opportunities.
* Represent the company at trade shows and local events (this requires the very occasional weekend away or weekend work).
* Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Reporting (content and format as agreed) to the Commercial Director monthly.
* Acquire new trusted suppliers for nationwide supply of products.
* Support the Commercial Director in the budgets and strategy within the Merchant Sales and Fawley Topsoil market.
* Support the office sales team by processing orders via the phone, email and from our e-commerce customers.
* Respond to customer calls regarding orders, billing/invoice issues, product queries and service questions.
* Be an intrinsic link between sales, finance, and operations.
* Organise various transport solutions to deliver orders.

We are looking for someone that:
* Has experience of working within a sales and customer service environment, with a proven ability to engage and build rapport with customers on the phone and face to face – visits to customers is part of the role.
* Is a self-starter, enthusiastic, hungry for success and is consistent.
* Is articulate, has strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
* Possesses excellent communication and customer service skills, including telephone manner, verbal and written skills.
* Is proactive and professional in their approach to work with the ability to generate new ideas.
* Has knowledge and proven experience of working with Databases and Microsoft Office packages.
* Is willing to undertake further training as required for continuous professional development.
* Holds a current and valid UK driving licence with 6 points or fewer and own car – (business miles will be reimbursed in line with Government guidelines).
