Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Group Health & Safety Manager to join the senior leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate professional looking to make a genuine impact across multiple businesses.
As Group Health & Safety Manager, you'll lead and coordinate health, safety, and environmental strategies across all sites. You'll be responsible for setting standards, ensuring compliance, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the group.
The Group Health & Safety Manager will develop policies, provide expert advice to stakeholders, lead audits, and ensure continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
As Group Health & Safety Manager, you'll play a key part in keeping the organisation up to date with all relevant legislation and act as the point of contact for external agencies. You will also deliver safety training, monitor KPIs, and chair health and safety committee meetings across the group.
This role requires a hands-on, visible presence across all operations and a genuine drive to embed best practices in every corner of the business.
Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in a similar Group Health & Safety Manager or multi-site H&S role
2. NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) essential
3. Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
4. Confident communicator able to influence at all levels
5. Experienced in incident investigation, audits, and training delivery
6. A strategic thinker with the ability to implement practical solutions
