Technical Administrator – REPEX
Competitive starting salary from £27,068 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our team based at Thorpe Park, Leeds on a permanent contract.
As a Technical Administrator, you will assist in the design of NGN's mains replacement, ensuring the programme achieves all required outputs for RIIO-GD3 and beyond. You will work in a team of technical design and planning staff delivering a range of network design activities to ensure the replacement programme is fit for purpose and compliant with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
1. Undertake network analysis for project designs, taking into account overall security of supply, customer expectations and commercial considerations.
2. Liaise with operational teams following onsite investigations confirming asset size, material and locations.
3. Administer NGN's stub end / part PON policy through the utilisation of the Mains Risk Prioritisation System (MRPS) application.
4. Provide support to the design team, including accurate and timely maintenance of Synergi Gas and SAP applications, creation of network analysis plans and red line drawings.
5. Assist with the annual network analysis workload for the design team utilising the Synergi Gas application ensuring all NGN's statutory obligations are met.
6. Ensure all SAP systems are fully and accurately populated with project details.
7. Undertake network analysis for project resubmission when additional information is found on site and update construction drawing with the amendments.
8. Work with other departments to access governor settings, demand information and weather data.
What we are looking for in our Technical Administrator:
Please be advised that no specific technical knowledge is necessary, as full training will be provided to ensure a robust understanding of the appropriate systems (including Synergi Gas, SAP, ArcMap the gas distribution network and replacement requirements) and techniques used to carry out technical administration activities.
* Management of internal customer and stakeholder relationships.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders in the development of project designs.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Strong team player with ability to work on own initiative.
