Primary SEN Tutor Job Duties: - Provide tailored educational support to primary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) - Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities - Conduct assessments to identify areas of improvement and track progress - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students to thrive Required Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - Specialisation in Special Educational Needs (SEN) - Experience working with primary school students with SEN Education: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: - Minimum of 2 years experience in SEN teaching Knowledge and Skills: - In-depth understanding of SEN strategies and techniques - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs - Proficiency in creating engaging and accessible learning materials Preferred Qualifications: - Postgraduate qualification in SEN - Additional training in specific SEN areas such as Autism or Dyslexia Working Conditions: - Part-time hours, flexible schedule - Collaborative work environment with teachers, parents, and other professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
