As a Pensions Audit Manager/Senior Manager, you will:
1. Take responsibility for ownership and completion of each audit assignment within the agreed budget and deadlines set.
2. Demonstrate the importance of meeting clients’ needs and take responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high-quality work that exceeds clients’ expectations.
3. Support the project management of the audit and monitor and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness without compromising quality.
4. Direct, coach, and mentor audit teams to assist them in the delivery of engagements.
5. Identify where consultation is required and lead discussions with technical, the client, the team, and other specialists and provide a potential solution to enable appropriate evaluation and review.
6. Adhere to deadlines, including prompt notification to the partner where problems are likely to arise or as they arise on each assignment.
7. Identify where other experts in the firm can provide relevant services to respond to client business needs.
8. Manage work in progress and billing on client assignments.
9. Prepare and present reports to senior management and Audit Committees/Boards.
10. Be proactive in Business Development activities and developing, maintaining, and monitoring your own network.
As a Pensions Audit Manager/Senior Manager, you will need:
1. Qualified ACA, ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent.
2. Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
As a Pensions Audit Manager/Senior Manager, you will get:
1. 25 days holiday + bank holidays + an extra 1 or 2 days over Christmas with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days per year.
