Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Carrickfergus to recruit a new full time and permanent Administrator
Primary Responsibilities:
Arrange priority collection/deliveries to and from customers as and when required.
Liaise with customers to ensure the smooth transaction of goods
Daily interrogation of the company's in-house system to assist and lead in various VMI operational tasks.
Management of documentation including filing and closure of PODs on the company's in-house system.
Maintain a high level of stock control including weekly KPI reporting for on forwarding to customers on weekly basis.
Daily interaction with HMRC systems for our Type A Bonded warehouse involving the input of custom entries for all bonded movements into and out of the facility.
Supporting Responsibilities:
Daily cover to support in admin related tasks.
Assist and drive general housekeeping duties within office.
Compliance (as reasonably expected) with all company and official H&SAW regulations.
Monitoring of reception by recording vehicle movements and passing to the correct department for loading/unloading
Essential:
Good time management skills.
Previous experience of working in an administration role.
Effective communication skills (verbal/written).
Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, internet and e-mail.
Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
3 GCSEs or equivalent.
Effective customer support/care skills.
Desirable:
* Experience of HMRC custom entries
Details
Hours of work - 08:30 am to 16:30pm Monday - Friday (one-hour lunch)
Because of the location it would be beneficial for applicants to have a drivers licence and access to a vehicle
