£140 – £160 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our school in Chesterfield, teaching a Year 1/2 class. This is a full-time, permanent position starting immediately.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
* Create and maintain a stimulating and well-organized classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding pupils’ progress
* Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities
Person Specification The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
* Have experience or training in Key Stage 1 teaching (desirable)
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
* Show a strong understanding of the primary curriculum
* Be passionate about primary education and pupil development
* Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development
