Brighton-based (Hybrid office and home-working)
Full-time (37.5 hours)
15-month fixed-term contract (November 2023 – January 2025) with opportunity for extension.
Oasis is recruiting for a Chief Executive Officer to cover the current CEO’s maternity leave for a 15-month fixed-term period. As CEO, you will work alongside our board, management, and staff team to ensure that Oasis continues to meet its strategic objectives and delivery plans. You will be at the helm of an exceptional charity with secure funding and partnerships and an incredible team of staff across three premises in Brighton and Hastings.
You will have…
1. Experience working in a CEO or Senior Management level role within a voluntary sector organisation
2. Strong leadership skills
3. Proven track record of securing funding
4. Understanding of key issues, policy, and legislation surrounding drug and alcohol services
5. Experience in financial management
6. Commitment to and understanding of safeguarding
7. Commitment to the principles of equity and diversity
