The Role: As a Room Leader at St. George's Nursery, you will be stepping into a pivotal role, leading your own room and guiding your team to provide exceptional care and education. Your responsibilities will include: Team Leadership: Inspire and lead your room’s team, ensuring they deliver the highest standards of care and education. Curriculum Implementation: Design and implement a stimulating, age-appropriate curriculum that meets the developmental needs of each child. Parent Engagement: Build strong, positive relationships with parents, maintaining open and effective communication about their child's progress. Environment Management: Create a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment where children can explore and learn. Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and enhance the quality of care and education provided, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. About You: We are looking for a Room Leader who is passionate about early childhood education and ready to take on a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have: Qualifications: A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework. Experience: Proven experience working within an early years setting, with some supervisory or leadership experience being a plus. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
