About The Role
HC-One are looking for a product manager with strong supplier management skills and an eye for user experience to join our Product Management team. You will be a key part of HC-One’s ambitious digital transformation programme, responsible for delivering digital products and services that improve the experience of our residents and help HC-One provide the kindest care possible.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, to understand their needs, define the product vision and roadmap, and oversee the delivery of the products. You will also need to track contractual performance, budgets, and performance of our suppliers, ensuring that they deliver high-quality outcomes and value for money.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage and maintain product vision and strategies, facilitating an understanding of the possibilities offered by digital solutions.
- Create and manage product roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities for maximum value.
- Lead the implementation of change across various products, coordinating planning and execution within the wider team.
- Utilize data to generate ideas for new products and features, while analyzing market and competition data to meet or exceed industry standards.
- Define product requirements for development teams and third-party suppliers, guiding the process from ideation to market release or enhancements.
- Manage testing processes to identify and resolve issues, driving continuous improvement in product functionality.
- Gather and incorporate user feedback to enhance product features and overall performance.
- Champion agile methodologies within the broader business context.
- Engage with users to gather and understand requirements, facilitating effective communication with various stakeholders, including designers, engineers, developers, and subject matter experts.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial request to delivery to the business.
- Develop documentation and assistance tools to support users effectively.
- Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of functionality and data structures within HC-One IT systems.
- Collaborate seamlessly within an agile development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
About You
Educated to Degree level in a related discipline, or with equivalent experience, and holding a relevant qualification in Agile (ideally as product owner or product delivery) you have at least 2 years of experience working in a product manager role, ideally with experience using bootstrap & Devops.
You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and can influence stakeholders, communicate ideas and concepts effectively and evaluate options to make suitable recommendations. You have an understanding of the Product lifecycle, can execute a Product vision, strategy & roadmap, and have the ability to work on a varied and demanding portfolio, ensuring strategic initiatives are prioritised.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
