Position Overview
Responsible for delivery of CRH Europe’s ERP Programme in line with the roadmap agreed with the ELT-lead Programme SteerCo. Main focus is on rationalising the existing 61 ERPs towards a target of 4-7. Programme must also deliver on a series of upgrade and improvement projects. Role will assume direct responsibility for centrally managed projects, and ensure oversight / QA for locally managed projects in OpCos.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
1. Lead the delivery of the CRH Europe ERP Programme, in line with the roadmap agreed with the ELT-lead Programme SteerCo
2. Oversee the targeted ERP rationalisation to reduce CRH Europe’s ERP landscape from the existing 61 ERPs to a target of 4-7
3. Oversee a programme of essential ERP upgrade & improvement projects
4. Be directly accountable for the delivery of all centrally managed ERP projects. Example projects include those in Connect, FREE, Jura & Unison solutions
5. Be accountable for providing oversight / QA for all locally managed ERP projects. Examples include projects in Tarmac, Leviat, etc.
6. Work closely with the Head of PMO, manage and coach Project Managers to ensure quality project delivery in line with agreed methodologies/standards
7. Define, implement and maintain appropriate Programme Tracking / oversight mechanisms to ensure control and to inform relevant stakeholders
8. Programme SteerCo – own and produce the SteerCo materials / updates
9. M&A – act as SME on all ERP projects related to acquisitions & divestments

Experience / Education
You are/have:
1. Degree/Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
2. Multiple years of experience in project management, ideally in manufacturing
3. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) highly desirable
4. Experience in managing multiple full-cycle SAP implementations/upgrades
5. Strong track record of quality project delivery (time, budget, quality)
6. Experience of implementing / following structured project methodologies
7. Experience of working in a manufacturing / industrial environment
8. Experience of working internationally with different countries / cultures
