Business Development & Marketing Tenders Lead - City Law Firm - London / Hybrid - up to £75k + benefits
Role Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, proactive individual, with demonstrable understanding of Business Development and Marketing fundamentals and preparing bids and tenders, to join a leading City Law firm as a BD & Marketing Manager - Tenders Lead. Working closely with your assigned practice areas, you will execute marketing and BD plans, identify opportunities, and build strategy while providing high-quality, proactive business development and marketing support.

Key Responsibilities:
* Managing budgets, costed plans, and overall spend
* Building strategy and executing business development and marketing plans
* Identifying opportunities and insights, researching external associations, networks, events, and marketing opportunities
* Coordinating tenders, pitches, and presentations
* Attending meetings on a regular basis
* Planning and coordinating award entries, directory entries, website pages, social media calendar, and client mailings
* Producing digital media (planning, organizing production, and assisting with development)
* Coordinating events - planning all logistics as required
* Managing key account tracking and outreach
* Driving participation in client feedback programmes
* Calendarising potential tenders at all target organisations, monitoring and tracking opportunities and relevant news at targets
What we’re looking for:
* Sound experience in similar business development and marketing roles, preferably within a law practice (or professional services)
* Experience providing full BD & marketing support to practice areas / large teams
* Solid bids/tenders expertise with experience in producing successful tender and bid documentation to secure new business
* Planning, budgeting, and monitoring skills
* Accurate, professional drafting, copywriting, and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail
* Ability to analyse and present data to assist decision making
* Excellent project management capabilities
* Excellent administration skills
* Exceptional organisational skills with proactive time management and the ability to multi-task
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* IT savvy with good MS Office skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
* Experience working in a busy, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
